Problem installing Via instructions

At the point where its time to test i get "d:\winids\snort\ect\snort.conf(45) Missing argument to HOME_NET
fatal error, quiting. After checking that line in the CONF I dont see anything that points me in the right direction.. any assistance would be great.

Look at line 45 in the snort.conf file. Match line with the tutorial and that should get you to the fix. If problems still exist attach the snort.conf file.

Sorry i had already looked there and didnt see an issue. however the screen on the server leaves a bit to be desired  one of the . was a , sooo completely my  bad

Yea, that happens sometimes. Cutting and pasting works really well, but being very careful is a must...
