This is the latest Windows Intrusion Detection System (WinIDS) Barnyard2 Software Development Kit (SDK), intended for compiling Barnyard2 on Windows.
Compiling Barnyard2 for an existing WinIDS installation is typically only required when you are updating your MySQL or PostgreSQL database.
Note: It is highly recommended that the database version compiled into Barnyard2 matches the version currently running on your live WinIDS system.
