Please Help!!!

Here is the error i get:

The Snort service is starting.
The Snort service could not be started.

A system error has occurred.

System error 1067 has occurred.

The process terminated unexpectedly.



snortlog.txt is attached
snort.conf is attached

this is the error i get from the file snortlog.txt :

Errorbuf:
AdaptersName:\Device\NPF_GenericDialupAdapter
\Device\NPF_{099F2993-3669-41A2-9849-0B84C2C8331E}

From the terminal window type:

c:\winids\snort\bin\snort -W

From the above output note your adapter number, and it's usually 1.

From the terminal window type:

c:\winids\snort\bin\snort -v -i1

Is there an error or is it scrolling packets to the screen?

Found one error in your snort.conf:
      Code:
# path to dynamic rules libraries
dynamicdetection directory /usr/local/lib/snort_dynamicrules

Should be:
      Code:
# path to dynamic rules libraries
# dynamicdetection directory /usr/local/lib/snort_dynamicrules
